APC has developed a product called “the imop™” which is an innovative device designed to make the use of electricity in any ‘inductive load’ (heaters, pumps, motors, some fluorescent lighting) more efficient. The imop™  is installed as near to the motor as possible, either on the floor or mounted on the wall. It only takes up about as much space as a briefcase but each one is individually tailored by using a diagnostic device known as a sizing kit. This is designed to precisely identify the amount of KVAR’s which needs to be added to each inductive load to achieve its maximum efficiency. APC manufacture the imop™ for sale internationally.
