Highly Secure and Easy to Operate

The Hypercom Financial Terminal’s HFT108 is a secure PIN pad device that is easy to operate. It is ergonomically designed with large clear keys for PIN input, graphic display for clear messages, and is contained within a small footprint. The HFT108 is designed to be flexible, per customer requirements, and has various modular card reader options. These options including, smart card reader only, smart card and separate magnetic stripe reader (module), and with integrated hybrid card reader (Swipe & Park module) for both chip and magnetic stripe cards. Any of these readers may be covered with a panel if the retailer wants to defer initial use and later remove for operator or customer card management.

EMV and Other Card Applications

The HFT108 is an excellent peripheral device that can be attached to EPOS systems, Hypercom Hybrid Card Readers, and other Hypercom terminals. It is fully EMV compliant and supports complete EMV functionality (EMV Level 2 software). The HFT108 can also support other bank and retailer card applications including Electronic Purse, Loyalty Systems and Staff Applications.

Designed for the harshest store environments, the HFT 108 is a robust countertop unit designed to be customer facing. Users are guided through transactions with clear prompts on an easy-to-read backlit graphic display.

Built for the Future

Sockets in the base of the devices can accommodate up to two SAMs for e-purse applications, cryptography co-processors or other uses. Keys can be programmed for specific functions.
